Milocer park 'secret' route
In a small country like Montenegro places are already well known and mass-visited. So, I'm always trying to find a gem, a part that a mass missed and I often manage.
It's August and Milocer beaches are full of tourists. However I wanted something really special for this morning. So, I decided to walk and old path that not so many people, especially tourists knaw about...
The path goes from Przno all around Milocer park heading to old Monastery from 14c.AC. Terrain is steep and the path is streight, so I have difficulties to climb in the middle of the day when the temperature reaches 35 degrees Celsius. I feel like I suddenly got in a fairy tail following the grey-stone road. I feel so special walking this centuries old path...
In recent history this monastery (picture is taken from Wikipedia) is known for the fact that famous tennis played Novak Djokovic was merried here (in 2014).
The legend says that the monastery was named after the near spring that tasted like peaches so the monastery got its name (the peach =praskva). The bridge is not on the spring from the legend, but who knows.. it seamed romantic enough to illustrate the whole story...
